An experienced fundraising and social impact partnerships manager, Isabel Burchard is UNICEF’s Manager for Private Sector Partnerships for the Eastern and Southern Africa Regional Office in Nairobi.
Isabel Burchard is UNICEF’s Manager for Private Sector Partnerships for the Eastern and Southern Africa Regional Office in Nairobi. Isabel is an experienced Fundraising and Social Impact Partnerships Manager.
She brings 18 years of international work experience from the UN and the Private Sector. She believes that the private sector plays a fundamental role in transforming children’s rights into reality. Together with her team, she supports UNICEF’s mission to promote that all children have an opportunity to survive, develop and reach their full potential without discrimination, bias or favouritism. She and her team develop and support UNICEF’s partnerships with the private sector across the 21 countries in the region, and work closely with country teams on innovative financing and new approaches to public-private partnerships.
Before joining UNICEF, Isabel worked from 2006–2018 with the UN World Food Programme on public and private partnerships in Europe and North America. She started her career in the media and automobile industries.
