Moses Musyoka-Muthui
Moses Musyoka-Muthui is the Country Strategy Director for Absa in Kenya, and has over 12 years’ local and international experience in Finance, Treasury, Investment Banking and Strategy.
Moses has 12 years’ local and international experience in Finance, Treasury, Investment Banking and Strategy, having worked for Barclays Group in various capacities including: Deputy Chief of Staff at Barclays Bank Kenya; Treasury Manager and Finance Associate Director at Barclays Group based in London; Investment Banker at Barclays Capital based on Wall Street, New York; and currently Country Strategy Director at Barclays Kenya.
During his investment banking career, Moses advised on transactions in excess of USD15 billion in Mergers & Acquisitions, Equity Capital Markets and Debt Capital Markets.
Moses is also a Director at the Board of Barclays Financial Services Limited, the investment banking arm of Barclays Kenya.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from the London School of Economics, an MBA from the University of Nairobi, a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Mathematics from Egerton University, and is a qualified Accountant with ACCA (UK), a certified public accountant in Kenya (CPA, K) and a licensed Investment Banker by FINRA, (U.S.A).
